Spring has sprung and we here at Salon 1827 wanted to celebrate by bringing back our blog to share exciting news, updates and specially curated information with you!
First, in celebration of Earth Day, we wanted to highlight how our salon is classified as a green salon which is something we are extremely proud of! We have partnered with Green Circle Salons; through this partnership we are able to recover up to 95% of our salon’s waste such as hair clippings, foils and other single use items and color tubes while also becoming carbon neutral. These typical beauty waste items are recycled and/or repurposed rather than ending up in a landfill or water way. Since 2009 Green Circle Salons has helped prevent more than 8,629,369 lbs of waste from ending up in landfills or waterways. Next, since it is spring we wanted to highlight a couple of hair concerns that inevitably come up when the weather starts to turn from cold to warmer; frizz and lack of hydration! So frustrating we know and we ourselves deal with these concerns right alongside you. Between New England days not knowing whether it will be humid, rainy or cold our hair does a dance between being flat or dry. So here we are dealing with these seasonal hair concerns but have no fear we have a few solutions for you!
A shampoo solution is from our newest line in the salon, Leaf & Flower.
